Saturday is a day in my life that I will remember for the rest of my life! I have covered 100's of weddings since I first started as a photographer back in 1992 but never have I had such an emotional day.

I am not going to go into detail as a mark of respect to all involved but I would like to share a thought:

It doesn't matter how much money you can spend on a wedding be it a designer dress or expensive shoes it pails into insignificant when a Father sees his daughter for the first time in her dress. I had the honour of capturing that moment between Lousie and her dad and I will never forget it for the rest of my life. It was a precious moment frozen in time forever.

I was delighted to be chosen by Layonnie and Mark to photograph their wedding at The Grove. It was a small wedding in the Garden Room which has to be one of my favourite locations for a wedding.

The couple both looked great and the afternoon was a relaxed affair. The couple had only invited close friends and family so the atmosphere was perfect! I will post some images over the next week.

I had a great morning with Selina and Glenn for their pre-wed shoot. It took place in the grounds of Hatfield House. The biggest bonus of the pre-wed shoot is for couples to get used to the camera and for us all to get to know each other a bit better.

I think the hour we spend taking pictures is invaluable to the couple. I include the pre-wed shoot in all my wedding packages and I think it is so important to at least spend an hour before the most important days of your life with the person who is going to capture it.

I now feel that I know the couple better and I hope that they feel more comfortable with me. Its all about feeling relaxed and having a pre-wed shoot helps us to achieve this.

I had a great time with Gemma and Peter during their pre-wed shoot at Swiss Gardens. The couple are so excited to be getting married there and they couldn't have picked a more stunning location.

There are endless locations to take shots at. I cannot wait until the wedding day!!

We have had another wonderful week here at Ian Waldron Photography. Both Ashridge Management College and Pendley Manor have granted us approved photographer status!

Both these venues are stunning. The recent wedding I photographed this year at Ashridge was beautiful. The venue and staff are wonderful and I hope to be doing many more weddings there in the near future.

Pendley Manor are just going through a major refurb program. The new rooms I have seen look great and I cannot wait to see the final phase completed.
